One of my cousins said we are not going to anymore funerals,I know that we are going to end up going to more funerals because at any second the unexpected can happen and people die everyday. And I will be at every funeral my family attends, now what can I do to keep the flowers from the funeral alive and keep them from dying,it seems that the flowers from every funeral I come from always break down and rot and I have to throw them away.

Myths and mis believes are always available at every nook and corner of the world
Death is certain and it will happen whether you bring flowers or not
Flowers are symbolic at joy, sorrow and happiness.
It is we human beings who are creating and utilising them at such occasions.

There is no way to keep them alive unless they are connected to a plant that is in the ground, but what I usually do with my flowers is I dry them out. Hang them upside down on a string not pressed up to anything. They will darken and shrivel but they still look pretty..although this works best with roses. Some flowers don’t look great dried, but you can always try it out instead of waiting for them to rot. :)

Keep the flowers in a vase full of ice water. That is the cheapest and easiest way to keep them alive for a good period of time. There is also a product that can be mixed with water that when flowers are kept in the mixture they stay alive for quite some time.

Either replant them into a real garden, or if you live in a colder climate try buying a larger pot and replanting it with good soil and lots of nutrition. Keep it by the window where there isnt a draft and make sure it gets lots of sunlight and proper watering. Dont overwater! good luck!

when you bring them home…trim the stems to a shorter size..in a vase add a half cup of mouth wash..then the rest with cold water…carnations will last the longest

put them in a vase of water and change the water everyday. but they’ll only stay alive for a while.

put them in a pot near a window that is kinda warm during this winter and put a banana peel into the dirt and water it only every other day because plants can be over watered!
